Hey, I’m Donovan! I grew up in Long Beach, Mississippi, and while faith wasn’t really a part of my home life growing up, the church in Long Beach became a family that changed everything for me. They were the ones who showed me grace, encouraged my faith, and noticed that I had an ability to connect with people and, well, had a lot to say. I preached my first sermon in the 10th grade and never looked back. My journey led me to study Bible at Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama. From there, I’ve spent the past 10 years serving as a Student and College Minister at churches in Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. That journey has now brought my family and me to Blairsville — and we couldn’t be more excited to be here.

 

Outside of ministry, I’m a husband to my wife Eliza and a dad to our two boys, Easton and Peyton. We love sports, the outdoors, and music — but more than anything, we love being with people and experiencing community. I can’t wait to get to know you!
